Inspired by an outdoor photography workshop that I attended as a spectator, we stayed in Turkey, TX overnight. Here is a view of Caprock State Park from Turkey, TX. Later we proceeded to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, TX led by the spectacular Wyman Meinzer, Official State Photographer of Texas.
This body of work focuses on arid Western landscapes with warm memories of places that I have visited. I am yearning to travel again. Color conveys the the energy from nature and space in the landscape. My mark-making emphasizes topology, while luminosity and transparency are enhanced on Yupo paper.
