My two favorite seasons are Spring and Fall, although there are the differentiation and attractive distinctions in each Season. Spring is energizing and enticing. We are renewed by fresh lime-green leaves on trees, shrubs and perennial plants. Green is the dominant color in Spring. It’s a time for renewal and refreshment. Fall, on the other hand, is full of warm yellows, browns and reds. It is a calm time, especially as leaves float to the ground and trees get ready to rest and hibernate. Chlorophyll is not as available; green takes a break in the landscape. As you can see, my artwork is predominantly a warm palette. I am drawn to the “Sweater Weather” of the Fall season.
