This painting is inspired by a World Wildlife  (www.wwf.org) photograph of Yellowstone National Park.

On a personal level, this painting is about a memory. My memory is of a childhood trip to Yellowstone National Park, thanks to my parents and van they owned. We camped out in the van as we toured The West and several National Parks, including Yellowstone National Park.It was one of many trips Out West.
